Dr. Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors, recently spoke in Denver about the economy and home sales in particular. parker colorado real estate: It gets old dealing with unprofessional Realtors! - 11/10/08 05:11 PM
Saturday I had to set 5 showings, which is no big deal. I called about 4 hours prior to my first appointment. As I'm calling I discover that 2 of the agents are independents, and don't use a showing service. Then I panic realizing that I am driving out to Elizabeth (9 comments)

Thank goodness its over! I'm so sick of all the political stuff by now. And everyone uses it as an excuse not to buy homes, along with many other excuses. Take down all of the signs around Parker Colorado!
So the markets went up today, but it is bittersweet. The jobs (0 comments)
Looked at those fancy magazine inserts from Fuller Towne and Country or Kentwood recently? The listings in there are mind boggling. Most of those homes are in the upper tiers of the price ranges for the Denver Area, but to me, they look extremely expensive! I cannot believe homw (0 comments)
parker colorado real estate: Referrals - 11/03/08 11:17 AM
It is mind boggling how some agents can't seem to catch on to the referral aspect of the business. Our Referral Directory is online and at http://www.ColoradoDreamHomesTeam.com. Clients want and expect Realtors to be able to refer service providers. If its all in one place it makes it that much easier (0 comments)

parker colorado real estate: Sometimes Logic Does Not Prevail at Auctions - 04/20/08 08:48 AM
What struck me as odd at that auction was when it was clear that there were at least 2 or 3 interested parties for a property, that some would back down if they were outbid by $1000 or even $500. In some cases I could see where it would make sense (0 comments)
parker colorado real estate: I'm an Auction Expert Now! - 04/19/08 11:30 PM

Buyers are truly missing huge opportunites... Just surveying the active listings out there, and stumbling across a ton of bank owned properties, it is truly amazing the deals that are out there RIGHT NOW. There are a bunch of high end luxury homes that are a steal as an example. I saw (0 comments)
parker colorado real estate: Colorado Ranked 13th In The Nation Ain't Half Bad! - 06/23/07 11:29 PM
All things being equal, and considering our population and demographics, I'd say Colorado homes fare pretty well. We'll never be a California or Florida, but we've got the Rocky Mountains and I'd take that any day over a bunch of sand. What does New Jersey have? Illinois? Michigan? Colorado has more prestige (1 comments)

The short version of the article below illustrates what happens when real estate prices get ahead of a local economy. Most of us could never afford a home in Aspen or Vail. So what happens if real estate prices get ahead of ALL local economies? Well, then they will start to (0 comments)
