New to Active Rain network

Hello to Everyone! I'm hoping this will be a great way to meet other Real Estate Agents across the country and share ideas & information as well as build a stronger referral base. I have been searching for new ways to give my websites additional web exposure and came across activerain. I have been listing and selling homes and land on Lake Hartwell in western upstate South Carolina & Northeast Georgia for over 12 years. Clemson University is on the shores of Lake Hartwell and you can watch their rowing team practise on the upper Seneca River channel of the lake. I live on Lake Hartwell and in the past have spent a lot of time "working" on the lake measuring water depths and taking photos from the water of my listings. Currently we are experiencing Extreme Drought conditions and Lake Hartwell is over 20' below full pool (way below normal) so we aren't doing too much boating these days. I've lived here for 13 years and have never seen lake levels this low. I'm sure the lake level will get back to normal and everything will be as it used to be before too long. In the meantime, I'm working on getting all of the education regarding real estate that I can. I'm going to be totally prepared when this US economy rebounds and the housing market recovers.
