PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE - 02/06/08 07:21 PM
I usually only make this at Christmas, because it is so "fattening"- but it is so good anytime!
1 Cup Peanut Butter
2 sticks butter
Box of Confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla favoring
Melt butter in microwave, add peanut butter and microwave for 3 minutes.
Mix with sugar and place in a 9x12 dish, flatten and refrigerate. Cut into squares.
I sometimes add about a 1/2 cup of pecans for a little something extra!
This is quick and easy and soooo good.

Patty's Crock Pot Baked Beans - 02/03/08 07:00 PM
This is so easy to make and yummy to eat.
1 Lb. Ground Beef
1 Medium Onion-Chopped
1 Bell Pepper-Chopped
3 cans (16 oz) pork n beans
3/4 Cup light brown sugar
2 TBSP Mustard
2 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
2 Cups Ketchup
Brown ground beef and onions and pepper-drain. Add remaining ingredients, mix well and add to Crock Pot and cook for 3 hours.
These are always a big hit with my family. Hope you enjoy!

This is a WONDERFUL cake!
Box Yellow Cake Mix
Bake Cake mix (*) according to directions on box--pour into 3 layers
* I add 1 extra egg yoke and 1 tsp. vanilla to cake mix.  
Pineapple Glaze:
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 cups sugar
3 TBSP corn starch
Combine ingredients and cook until clear and thick. Add:
1 TBSP Vanilla
1 Stick butter
1/2 cup Chopped pecans
1/2 Cup Coconut
Cool slightly, then spread between layers and on top of cake.
I cook my glaze, cool it a little (still in the pan), then put it in the refrigerator overnight. Then, the next day, let it warm up on the counter for a while … (12 comments)

Knowing the Bible 101 - 02/03/08 07:21 AM
All my life growing up, I've always heard about the Bible. How wonderful and precious it is and that we all should read it.
Have you had the desire to know the Bible and decided "I'm going to read the Bible from one end to the other" and get started in Genesis (still determined) and get over maybe to Exodus and start to lose interest. You have good intentions but you just kinda lose interest because you don't understand what you are reading.
