Active Rain is my Husband's Mistress these days and I'm happy to say it. When I joined Active Rain in October of 2006, my husband, Bob, didn't really participate that much. Rainers got to know that I was the half of the HammersTeam that was doing all the blogging. Sure I ran my blogs by my husband and got his input but mostly I was the true Rainer. But Bob just didn't know he had The Active Rain Voice.
Then one day I told Bob to put up his own Profile on Active Rain and start putting his best efforts into contributing in his own words. Now I feel like that's all he wants to do. He caught the Active Rain bug and has become addicted. When he gets an idea in his head about something, I can't get his attention and I feel like Active Rain is my husband's mistress.
It's so easy to become addicted to the Active Rain network. So this post goes out to all you Rainers out there that are stll sitting on the fence about blogging. My husband Bob never thought he'd be able to do a blog and was happy to leave it to me. Now he's found TheActive Rain Voice through the one thing he loves the most and that's pictures.
So go out there and find your Active Rain voice. Everybody is pationate about something. Find your passion and translate it into your own Blog. You will surely become a true Rainer in no time once you find The Active Rain Voice!
Today is a very special day for me. Today is my husband, Bob's birthday so I wanted to use the Active Rain platform to say Happy Birthday to him. Many of you know Bob through Active Rain and I would just love it if as many of you as possible could wish him a Happy Birthday! Heck even if you don't know him it would be great if you would do that for me. We both feel like we've made so many friends here in the Rain and what better way to spend a birthday than with friends!
Bob and I have known each other since High School and although we didn't get married until many years after High School, I always knew he was a great guy. Now any happily married couple will tell you that things are not always perfect. But there is nobody I would rather have in my corner than my husband Bob!
Yes, we are a husband and wife realtor team as many others of you are here in the Rain and we think it's great. We each have our own special talents that we bring to the team concept and that just makes things run all the more smoothly for our customers.
With all the sad news there is in the press about the state of the real estate world right now I just wanted to say something light and cheerful as Happy, Happy Birthday Baby! You're still the Best!
