boston: Massachusetts Miracle - 01/15/10 08:14 PM

The miracle is Scott Brown will be elected.  We will celebrate so bigtime.  We are going to be set free.  Scott Brown is a great state Senator and we love him in Norfolk County and Needham.  I was born in Chelsea/Boston, MA and I was raised in a democrat family but they left us.  I then left them.  Clearer now than ever we need someone to take the "people's seat."  Let's take back our state and county.  You may not agree with me but that is ok.  I can't hep but share this great video.

I Can Drive Again and I am So Thankful to my Needham, MA CBRB Associates
What an amazing bunch of people in my office.  I cannot say enough about the team of people we have.  On November 18th, 2009 I fell and broke both right lower arm bones, dislocated one and broke my elbow.  I was a mess.  I could not write because I am right handed.

I was told that I could not drive for 2 to 3 months.  Well it was shortened by 5 weeks, thank God.  During the time of healing I had to be driven everywhere.  … (4 comments)

This little girl is only 6 years old. I can hardly believe it. What a voice and such a precious little girl. I enjoyed it and wanted to pass it along to you with a Happy Valentine's Day wish.
I am always getting ahead of myself but humor me. Hey it was 54 degrees for a minute in Boston, Massachusetts today. It was so nice not to have those freezing degrees for a day. Tomorrow it is back to reality. Some of the snow that has become so dirty now melted and that was a good thing. I want to shed … (6 comments)

boston: Ice Cream, Shays Beach, & Real Slush - 06/23/08 09:14 PM
I was telling my granddaughter what fun I had as a kid living next to a store that sold ice cream for a nickle.  I could walk across the street to the beach.  It was on the other side of Logan Airport.  It was such fun to just go over and swim.  It was a clean beach then.  We would pass the hot dog stand along the way and my dad would by me a "dog."  Oh, I loved that.  Then real slush not the stuff that is available now.  This was real and homemade with real lemon rind in it.  … (3 comments)

boston: Dover Market Report - 12/03/07 11:09 AM
Dover Market Report for the 3 month period 9/3/07 -12/03/07
Dover is almost Needham to us who have lived here forever it seems but it is just 3 miles to the line from our home.  A beautiful, affluent community but yet close to major highways.  Dover was part of the original town of Dedham and established in the Springfield Parish of Dedham.  Dover has great schools and town services.  On my website link below there is information to link to for schools.  Dover is bordered by Westwood, Needham, Medfield, Sherborn, Natick, Walpole, and Wellesley.  It is just 16 miles to Boston.

boston: We call it the "T" - 10/21/07 09:12 PM

The Chronicle of the Boston Transit System From the mass.gov website on MBTA Massachusetts Transportation
Many people study and cherish Boston's rich and colorful history with its ideas of liberty, freedom, and democratic concepts. Few, however, are aware of Boston's historic lifeline regional mass transportation. While Boston is the birthplace of American liberty, it is also the birthplace of American mass transportation.
Beginning with a family-operated ferry service, Boston has nurtured many forms of mass transportation, right up to today's most sophisticated mass transit vehicles. The Hub's transit system is the oldest and fourth largest in the nation has a history longer than that … (16 comments)
