Can you see him? Look closely and you will see him, because he's always there. - 11/10/08 01:10 AM
Can you see Jesus in this picture. Look closely! INFLUENCING THOSE AROUND YOU IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT THE GREATEST LOVE ANYONE CAN SHOW TO ANOTHER IS TO GIVE HIS LIFE FOR HIM. MOST PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THEY LOVE SO DEEPLY UNFORTUNATELY, MANY DO NOT RECOGNIZE THAT THE ASSIGNMENT OF LAYING DOWN ONE'S OPINIONS FOR THEIR LOVED ONES-THOUGH LESS DRAMATIC-IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT. EVEN SKILLED DEBATERS MAY ALIENATE THEIR AUDIENCES INSTEAD OF WINNING THEM OVER. THE GENTLE, KINDHEARTED LISTENER MOST OFTEN INFLUENCES THOSE AROUND THEM THAT IS PRECISELY THE TYPE OF PERSON YOU ARE CHALLENGED TO BE. GOD'S

An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips. Proverbs 24:26 - 11/09/08 12:43 PM
Most people would agree that honesty is the best policy-unless it is a honest critism. That kind of candor is often difficult to take. There are basically three ways people respond to criticism. One is to find fault with the messenger(probably where the saying "Don't shoot the messenger came from"). Another is to internalize it so that it destroys their self esteem.(Not very good at all) The third way is to bring the criticism to God and ask him to reveal the truth in it(This is the best way)In this way, you allow him to teach you and reveal blind spots

Slow Dance-Pass it on as a dying girls last request-Powerful! - 11/08/08 11:36 PM
This is a poem written by a teenager with cancer. She wants to see how many people get her poem.It is quite the poem. Please pass it on.This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a New York Hospital . SLOW DANCEHave you ever watched kidsOn a merry-go-round?Or listened to the rainSlapping on the ground?Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?Or gazed at the sun into the fading night? You better slow down.Don't dance so fast.Time is short. The music won't last.Do you run through each dayOn the fly? When you ask How are you?Do you hear the reply? When the day is doneDo

It takes the bitter and the sweet to make a life full and complete - 11/08/08 10:11 PM
Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain, Laughter and teardrops, pleasure and pain. Low tides and high tides, mountains and plains, Triumphs , defeats and losses and gains. But Always in All ways God's guiding and leading And He alone knows the things were most needing. And when He sends sorrow or some dreaded affliction, Be assured that it comes with God's kind benediction. And if we accept it as a Gift of his Love We'll be showered with blessings from Our Father above.

A sure way to have a Happy Day - 11/08/08 09:50 PM
Happiness is something we create in our mind, It's not something you search for and so seldom find. It's just waking up and beginning the day. By counting your blessings and kneeling to pray. It's giving up thoughts that breed discontent and accepting what comes as a "gift heaven-sent" It's giving up wishing for things we have not and making the best of whatever we've got. It's knowing that life is determined for us, and puruing our tasks without fret, fume or fuss. For it's by completing what God gives us to do that we find real contentment and happiness, too.

My RE/Max life story by Pat Preston - 11/08/08 12:04 PM
RE/MAX 1st Olympic-My story begins with RE/MAX in 1999 RE/MAX International opened the doors for the future of real estate in 1973 with 21 real estate associates. To date the RE/MAX family has approximately one hundred seven thousand associate members. I became part of the RE/MAX family April 16, 1999 as a sales associate. The path to success was very scary and yet very clear to me as a newer Realtor. Inside the business establishment with many successful RE/MAX associates and brokers, I could see progress for the future. I worked as a sales associate for 3 years and was honored

God must allow it first - 11/08/08 02:28 AM
When God sends us something good, we welcome it. How can we complain when he sends us trouble JOB 2:10 Though some of your experiences come as a result of your actions and other seem to occur randomly and without sense, nothing that happens to you is a surprise to God. He knows about each event and how it will effect you. That does not mean he chooses troubles for you; he allows them and will most assuredly strengthen you to deal with them. Nothing in your life is beyond God's purpose for protection. He would never allow anything that

HI Everyone-Some of you know that I'm a 5yr(next June)breast cancer survivor so finding a cure and breast cancer research are very near and dear to my heart. It got me once and nearly ended my life but with the grace of God above it will never return. Many of you that know anything about breast cancer or cancer of any kind know that the 5 yr mark is a milestone. Mine is coming up in 8 mo. Breast cancer doesn't just happen to women over 50 or even over forty. That why it is so critical for women to be
