Lynchburg's first hospital
The Pest House, or House of Pestilence, was Lynchburg's first hospital. It was located at the outermost edge of town, on land next to the Public Burying Ground (or City Cemetery).
The small, white-frame "Pest House Medical Museum" building-now located in the Old City Cemetery was moved to the Cemetery in 1987 from Dr. John J. Terrell's farm in Campbell County, Rock Castle. The structure was originally built in the 1840s and served as Dr. Terrell's medical office after the Civil War.

Hello Everyone. With all the talk about the economy and the slowing of the housing market. I wondered what people would do if they had to come up with Plan B, at least part time. Well I love real estate(except for the people)LOL. I've been doing it for 13 yrs and have done pretty well, I believe. But if I had to, and I might again, even part time because I do love it.
