PENDING HOME SALES AT HIGHEST POINT SINCE 2005 NAPLES, Fla.-February 13, 2009- In January 2009, the highest number of pending sales since 2005 was reported in a report released by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR), which tracks home listings and sales within Collier County (excluding Marco Island). Overall pending sales, which are a key indicator of buyer activity, increased 85 percent year-to-date in January 2009. The report provides annual comparisons of single-family home and condo sales (via the SunshineMLS), price ranges, geographic segmentation and includes an overall market summary. I just got back from a 4th of July picnic where there were numerous realtors. We started talking about the market, crazy situations, crazy people, funny people, etc.. Then the topic of our brokers came up. It made me think. I have finally (after 5 yrs. in the business and new town) found a real "grown up" broker to hang my license. I mean just that... "hang my license" -- not "work for" since we, the realtor bring them, the broker, the business.
