WITH LENT FASTLY APPROACHING...OUR LORD JESUS understood these words from SCRIPTURE, and we too should ponder them...
AS JESUS WAS LED BY THE SPIRIT into the desert to be tempted by the devil...
PERHAPS some of us are already in the desert and WE NEED THE SPIRIT TO LEAD US OUT...!!!
SO LET US TAKE ADVICE FROM PROVERBS 3:5 ‘...On your own intelligence rely not...’, and make this our LENTEN CHALLENGE...TO LET THE SPIRIT LEAD US...!!!

When the church founded by Jesus Christ first became known as THE ‘CATHOLIC’ CHURCH, it was because the Church had already spread to the uttermost parts of THE THEN KNOWN WORLD...!!!
CONSEQUENTLY, since ROME had become the ‘SEE OF PETER’ or the center of the Church, it became known as THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH...BUT...enough of Church history...

In my last post I wrote about ‘HATE', and the proper time to express it...!!!You can ‘HATE' onions or you can ‘HATE' politicians...One is no problem, the other may be counter productive...!!!
