EVERYONE WANTS TO FEEL LOVED...DON’T THEY...??? I certainly would include myself in the group that WANTS TO FEEL LOVED...BUT...
THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FEELINGS and LOVE...Let’s start here...
FEELINGS ARE REAL...If I say, ‘I feel like crap’, you can be sure I’m not in great spirits...on the other hand...REAL LOVE IS NOT A FEELING...ST. PETER found this out when he was reprimanded by Jesus and told, “Get behind me, Satan”...when Peter reacted on FEELINGS INSTEAD OF TRUTH...!!!
We hear expressions like ‘gut feelings’, ‘women’s intuition’, ‘hunches’, and the like...AND...The English language is not helpful when it comes to distinguishing between FEELINGS and … (5 comments)

WELL...I got to thinking yesterday that if we’re really serious about FOLLOWING JESUS and PROCLAIMING HIS GOOD NEWS...THEN...
Those of us who use phones a lot need to SPEAK AS JESUS WOULD...S A J W...when either sending or receiving a call...BTW, this goes for EMAILING AND TEXTING also...BECAUSE...
As ST. FRANCIS PUT IT, “GO OUT TO ALL THE WORLD AND SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS TO ALL YOU MEET...AND...USE WORDS IF YOU MUST”...!!!

Saturday was a day topped off by some serious smile making activities! A day epitomized by athletic involvement by four of my five young children! Now I'm a consummate 'people watcher', and not only passively but interactively...I love communicating with people...especially young ones, and the younger the better! In fact, I'll go so far as to say that the majority of wisdom that I've accumulated comes from listening to children...right! out of the mouths of babes!!! I particularly like engaging small children with long sad looks on their innocent faces...if I can change that frown into a smile, I consider it a success! And … (13 comments)
