He has shown his work throughout the south and northeast including Vanderbilt's Sarratt Gallery and Duke University's Louise Jones Brown Gallery. Aug 1 - Sep 1 Wattenbarger Ships at the History MuseumThe Wattenbarger Ships exhibit opened earlier this summer and will be on display through the rest of the summer. Dr. James Wattenbarger constructed sailing vessels that were replicas of actual ships that sailed in the 1600s and 1700s. The History Museum staff have combined the exhibit with the 20-year anniversary of an adventure some Cookeville boys actually took aboard a ship back in 1988 from Poland to Argentina.
