century 21 scheetz: Such Affordability For New Homes - 09/11/10 08:26 PM
OMG... If you're in the market for a new home, why not go with a brand spankin' new home. That's right; you can have a brand new home built by one the best New Home Builders in Indiana, Ryland Homes. Sometimes new construction can be costly, but Indianapolis new construction by Ryland Homes is not only affordable, it's quality - let me say that again...it's QUALITY! Take Northpoint Village for example...WOW, unbelievable. The first photo you see to your left is a model called the Bradford. This Bradford model has 4 bedrooms...yep, 4! It even has a fireplace, 2 car garage, and

century 21 scheetz: Bank Owned Homes Indianapolis - 11/05/09 08:22 AM
You've heard the news, you've seen the signs, FORECLOSURE! There are so many foreclosures throughout the Indianapolis area, however, we need to count our blessings that we are not in the kind of shape that Florida, (1 in every 158 households foreclosed on) California, (1 in every 154 households foreclosed on)Las Vegas (1 in every 54 households foreclosed on) and others find themselves in today. According to RealtyTrac RealtyTrac one in 373 households in the U.S. received a foreclosure filing. Bank owned homes in Indianapolis-Carmel ranked 63 for Metro Cities. It's not pretty, but it could be worse. Actually, those numbers and our rankings could change by

So many scenarios were presented throughout the day. Scenarios from FSBO, Expireds, to downtown Indianapolis homes, to Carmel real estate, and everything in between, presentations were

century 21 scheetz: Career In Real Estate -Day 8 - 04/12/09 03:02 PM
Day 8 - Scheetz Advantage Today was a FUN day! Fun? what was so much fun, you ask? Home Inspections! Yeah, right! No, really. Each month our new agents always like this day. We don't sit in a room and yack about how to do a home inspection. Nope! We go on a "field trip" and watch a home inspection take place! Hands-on, that's the best way to learn. The best way an agent can explain to a seller what will take place during an inspection, is to see one take place. Following the inspection at an active Indianapolis home for sale,

There's good news and bad news...First the good...a couple of the new agents established a relationship with buyers and are scheduled to go out and show them homes for sale in Indianapolis. The bad news, it was a very stormy Sunday afternoon. Rain, lightning, and wind! You would think that would keep people away, right? WRONG! Everyone had people come through. I like to end on a good note, so here it

century 21 scheetz: Career In Real Estate -Day 4 - 04/11/09 09:30 PM
DAY 4 - Scheetz Advantage PROSPECTING, PROSPECTING, PROSPECTING! In case you didn't hear that, P-R-O-S-P-E-C-T-I-N-G. Why so loud? because this is a SALES business. In sales we can't sit back and wait for the phone to ring hoping someones on the other end of the line begging to purchase homes for sale in Indianapolis. Wouldn't that be nice! Waiting for business to come our way is the slow way to build a business and go broke in the process. Going out and getting business is the assertive, proactive approach that we teach our agents here at CENTURY 21 Scheetz. Bill Foreman, Zionsville Branch Manager, taught four of the 12

century 21 scheetz: Early Bird Wins..Isn't that what they say? - 02/16/09 07:50 AM
I was in the office early this morning and as I do each morning I take a look at the leads that come in overnight and make sure they are ready to go out through our internal leadrouter system. This morning there was an email sent to the company from a woman who wanted to list her home and was looking for a "competent" agent. This particular "email" lead was not able to automatically route through the system because it didn't include a zip code area, which means the system didn't know how to route it. Because the woman was looking

century 21 scheetz: Our Agent Made The Customer Cry! - 02/01/09 02:58 PM
A STORY ABOUT THE EXTRA MILE! I received a call Saturday morning from one of our agents who received a lead through our 'Leadrouter" system. Someone from France moving to the states, only knew about CENTURY 21 and started her home search on the CENTURY 21 website. (BRAND MATTERS) From the Corporate CENTURY 21 site she was directed to the CENTURY 21 Scheetz site where she inquired on a home. The inquiry went through our internal Leads Technology program and within 3-4 minutes of the consumer submitting the inquiry, our agent was notified via phone. Our agent, Aniko Greene, contacted the

century 21 scheetz: I HATE Being A "Ticket" - 12/18/08 01:04 PM
Is it just me or does it seem like no one can help you immediately anymore? I call for help, and when I hear, "I'll need to create a ticket on this" I cringe! Uggh, I don't want to be a ticket. I know what happens to tickets, it ends up in "ticket hell". By the time someone gets back with me on an answer, I've moved on. I can't even remember what the problem was. They call back and say something like, "I'm calling about ticket number 33498" Invevitably I have to say, what was the issue. Once they try to explain

CENTURY 21 Scheetz has a company blog. We partner with a company called Compendium, a great local blogware company in Indianapolis. We also have 15 authors within this large company who asked to be "bloggers". 85 Keywords, "Wow, that's a lot of keywords", you say! Yes, it is, so wouldn't you think it would be easy to write a blog every couple of days about your business using keywords that we know people are using to search for Real
