First Time Buyers typically struggle in a fast sellers market. They have either watched HGTV or have talked to their parents and want to negotiate the seller down and get all closing costs paid by the seller. I am hearing myself say that more often this year! I feel so bad for one of my local buyers in Woodbridge Virginia. I met them at an OPEN House in December and at that time they were looking for a Single Family under $400,000 In the Lakeridge area of Woodbridge. At that time their wish list seemed very possible to find a home priced under $425,00 with updated kitchen and bathroooms and a two car garage.
Granite Counter Tops and Stainless Steel Appliances are on the Top of most buyers must have list today.
