florida: Dunedin Causeway Offer Kayaking, Dunedin, Florida - 10/27/08 06:39 PM
If you ride out to the causeway, you will find some beautiful views, a bike/walking path and a place to rent a kayak and kayak around the intercoastal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The causeway's end is the entrance to Honeymoon Island, renamed from Hog Island in 1939, when a developer built fifty thatched roof cottages for honeymooners. Take a short ride by ferry to one of the few completely natural islands along Florida´s Gulf Coast, Caladesi Island's white sand shores have been rated as the nation´s #1 best beach by Dr. Beach every years since 1991. florida: Downtown Dunedin, Florida - 10/24/08 04:13 PM
Yesterday I was in a pensive mood and needed to take a break from the office. It was a day I needed to get out and enjoy my hometown of Dunedin, Florida. I brought along my camera so I could take some pictures to share of our quaint little town. Dunedin has lots to offer. You can start at the western end of town and find our city's marina which is a beautiful spot for a sunset. Head further downtown and you will find unique shops and restaurants to enjoy lunch or dinner and perhaps a cocktail. Dont' forget your sweet

florida: Dunedin Celebrates Autumn - 10/24/08 09:58 AM
. I've heard it said that since I moved to Florida some twenty years ago that I must be accustomed by now to not having a changing of the Seasons. Florida really does have a changing of the seasons, although it may not be as extreme as my northern friends and family, we do have some cooler weather and celebrate the beautiful fall colors just like other states do. Here is a beautiful illustration of how Fall appears to us in Dunedin, Florida. Several of our churches have Fall Festivals and Pumpkin Patches. There are planned community events such as

florida: Dunedin, Florida, Dunedin Businesses, - 10/15/08 10:20 AM
I am always bragging about my hometown of Dunedin, Florida because it really is Delightful as it is often referred to as "Delightful Dunedin". It is a lovely waterfront area that I am happy to call home. I both live in work in Dunedin. I have a real estate office on Pinehurst and SR 580 known as Celtic Realty, so called due to my ethnic background. Last July, I got married to a terrific guy who also has called Dunedin his hometown for the last five years. We got married at the lovely St. Andrew's Chapel, in Hammock Park and had

florida: Tampa Bay Rays, Right in St. Petersburg, Florida - 10/15/08 10:07 AM
How about those Rays? They sure have come a long way since last season and I am very excited about the playoffs and looking forward to seeing them in the World Series. Our very own, Tampa Bay Area RAYS!! Some folks may not be aware that the Rays are not actually a TAMPA Team but a ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA team where their home games are played. They are referred to as the Tampa Bay Area team quite often and some out of towners confuse the issue with the City of Tampa. Anyway, that being said, many of us in Pinellas County, as well as the

florida: Dunedin, Florida - 10/14/08 09:29 AM
Dunedin, Florida is a quaint little town of about 37,000 people. As a hometown gal, we are really proud of our views of the sunset at the end of Main Street, our many unique shops and restaurants and our city wide events which often are held downtown, with Main Street closed to vehicular traffic. We attract thousands of visitors, especially this time of year, but what many folks do not know, is that the town's businesses CLOSE on MONDAYS!! Yes, folks, Dunedin is very quiet on Mondays, due to all the activity on the weekends, so vacationers, keep this in mind

florida: Cedar Key, Florida - A Great Get-Away - 10/06/08 09:00 AM
Last week was a tough one for me. I had been blogging about it on Acitive Rain and got lots of support from my fellow Active Rainers, but I really needed a time to reflect, not listen to the news and just plain veg-out. Last year we visitited Cedar Key and had a delightful weekend. It sure was reassuring to re-visit this year and realize that not much has changed over the last year at Cedar Key. They got a new pier, and it has a simple, uncomplicated feel, like the rest of the sleepy little town does. There are a

florida: I Don't Do Rentals... - 08/28/08 09:57 AM
Lately, I have been getting alot of call from folks who want to rent property rather than buy it!! It seems to me that folks are just plain scared of buying. We have lots of inventory in our office as well as on the market and I know there are buyers out there who can afford to buy right now but I'm guessing that some folks are just plain holding back. Anyway I don't know of any rental available in Dunedin, Florida. If there are any readers who have some seasonal or annual rentals in Dunedin, please let me know and
