I would like to let everyone know that I live in gorgeous Paradise, California on top of a mountain with beautiful views and lots to do. The name is everything that it implies.
There is alot to do and see. We have alot of 4X4 trails, Lakes, Rivers, Antique Stores and breath taking Views.
We have the Feather River Canyon, just take Highway 70 northeast towards Quincy and the highway follows the Feather River where you can fish, tube, swim and pan for gold or you can take one of the many side roads/trails and go four wheeling or camping.
We have Filbrook Lake up above Inskip where you can buy a cabin for vacations or a piece of land, go four wheeling, fishing camping and boating or just sit and enjoy the peace and quietness.
Then there is Lake Oroville, HUGE!!!! Buy a cabin cruizer or rent one stay on the lake for vacation it will take days to explore all the neat little areas. Fish, water ski or just sit and relax.
Four wheeling is endless hear. You can take trails over and around the mountains and end in different towns Like Chester at Lake Almanor or down in the Canyon at the Feather River or even at a quaint little resturant off Hwy 32 above Forest Ranch.
Anyway get the point? We are 1 1/2 hours North of Sacramento and 1 1/2 hours South of Redding. not a bad drive to take back country roads and go to Reno, Truckee ofr even Lake Tahoe.
We also have tons of antique stores in every town around and beyond. Come join me in this beautiful community that is constantly growing.
