AH ~ BACK TO THE DAYS OF DUALING OFFERS!
It has been awhile for me in having more than one offer on a listing at the same time. Back in the day - pre 2009, multiple offers were common place in The Woodlands, Texas. As with most agents around the country, things have slowed considerably and we just haven't been seeing the dual offers.
This past weekend, I am happy to report that I was dealing with two offers on one of my listings. Ah, it brought back memories for sure!

This really is the million dollar question in The Woodlands and surrounding North Houston area. For many months, rumors have been swirling around about the possibility of Exxon Mobil moving their world headquarters to the area.
There is a lot of dirt being moved in a certain location just south of Spring Creek to the west of I-45 North. It appears that someone is spending a great deal of money on the infrastructure of something big.

Today was our monthly luncheon meeting for the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County. Gil Staley of the South Montgomery County Economic Development was our speaker and shared some very encouraging news.
One of the best pieces of news that Mr. Staley shared was that from 2009 - 2010, South Montgomery County (The Woodlands area) experienced over 304 new jobs. That is wonderful news as these jobs bring in the people.

I have to share this wonderful south Texas weather with you all! We have had two of the coldest weeks on record in our area. Today I am happy to report that it is a balmy 68 degrees right now. The sun is shining and people are out on the bike trails, running, biking and walking.

As I was visiting with a potential Seller today, they posed the question as to why they should list with me being that I am a small boutique brokerage. Of course this is a very valid question. Listing your home is a huge decision and should who lists your home should be evaluated carefully.
My answer is simple. The agent you choose should be based on service, communication, level of comfort, effectiveness and of course market savvy.

Well....almost. Yesterday while dining at Caffe di Fiore here in The Woodlands, Texas, a very famous gentleman sporting a long white beard was having lunch right across from me. I believe it was Dusty Hill sitting there in his ball cap seemingly enjoying a lovely lunch while the rest of the place was acting way cool like he wasn't there!

The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber had their end of the year luncheon today. Our own Bandier Realty Partners sponsored the luncheon.
