Hey Rainer friends, the Texas Association of REALTORS® Conference is coming up! September 5-8 agents from all over Texas will descend upon the beautiful city of San Antonio for the annual conference. The keynote speaker will Eric Stomer who is a popular host on many HGTV and TLC shows.
The Hyatt Regency Hotel right on the historic San Antonio Riverwalk will be the site of the conference. San Antonio is always a great city for conferences with the wonderful restaurants, lodging and sight seeing available. Of course there are many, many excellent authentic Mexican food restaurants!
As an Active Rain Blogger, the added bonus of attending your local, state or national real estate conventions are meeting up with fellow Active Rainer's. Today Tiffany Sneizek and I met up with Jerry Newman. It was great meeting this wonderful man in person. I knew from being a Subcriber to his blog that I would love him and indeed I did. We all received an email this morning from the AR CEO Nikesh who will be arriving here in San Antonio, Texas tomorrow. He will be meeting with as many Rainer's as possible. … (10 comments)
Can you believe that it was 90 degrees yesterday here in Texas in February???? I was driving to Austin for the Texas Association of REALTORS Winter Meeting and decided to drop the top on the car and enjoy this weather! (Had you going there with the racy title didn't I?) What a perfect time to gather with the best minds in the industry, gain some knowledge and earn some MCE! Today I attended the Commercial Real Estate meetings. WHO IS ATTENDING TAR THIS WEEK? Any Active Rainer's out there attending the Texas Association of REALTORS® Convention this week down in Galveston? I will be there and would love to have the opportunity to personally meet some of my AR buddies! Interesting too that today marks the two year anniversary for Hurricane Ike which hit Galveston on this exact day. I will be posting a blog about that today later on.
