The Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute is expanding its $18 million global headquarters into the Lake Nona Medical City. It will be more than 35,000-square-feet, whis is nearly twice the size of the institute’s current location. It is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
“With this investment, we are accelerating our ability to impact human well-being globally,” said Lowinn Kibbey, Global Head of Human Performance Institute, in a news release. “The new facility will anchor our efforts to help individuals and organizations unleash their potential and their capacity for peak performance and well-being.”

With all the buzz surronding Amazon's recent news to open up warehouses in Lake Nona, Bizjournals.com shared an article about more than 467,369 square feet of shops and restaurants that are coming to Narcossee Road near State Road 417.
The $100 million Lake Nona Landing shopping center is looking more like its site plan as work has gone vertical on new tenant buildings that include a Pollo Tropical, Chili's, Mattress One and Central Florida's second Rubio's Costal Grill. Potential Lake Nona mega-warehouse tenant revealed: AmazonA new 2.3 million-square-foot warehouse and distribution center planned near Orlando International Airport appeared to match the specs for what would be an Amazon.com Inc. fulfillment center — and real estate sources who declined to go on the record confirmed that rumor on May 8. Those involved in the project — including Lake Nona developer Tavistock Development Co. LLC, Amazon, and Atlanta-based developer Seefried Industrial Properties Inc. — would comment. But the Seattle-based e-commerce giant (Nasdaq: AMZN) has been building several mega warehouses throughout the nation, including one coming soon to the Jacksonville region.
