September 11th Memorials Around Anchorage - 09/09/11 01:52 PM
This Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the tragedy of 9/11/01.  The people of Anchorage will be joining in with millions of other American citizens to remember what happened that day as well as celebrate the strength of the American spirit.  If you are looking for a way to remember those we lost, there are several September 11th memorials happening around Anchorage.
Never Forget Fundraiser - Jodhpur Rd, 8am-6pm.  All proceeds received from the sales of hotdogs and sodas during the local motocross races in Anchorage on September 11th will go towards the Alaska Fallen Firefighters Memorial.  Please go out and support these guys.
