An article in todays (May 29, 2008) discussing April Sales being up 25%, the highest increase since 2005.

Property Taxes to be lowered in Palm Springs - 05/06/08 08:34 PM
At our recent Board of Realtors meeting, it was anounced by the County of Riverside that property values were being reassessed. Basically, current assessment values for homes bought between 2004 and 2007, are being adjusted back to 2004 values.  Property taxes will thus be based on your 2004 value.
