If you are this kind of agent you are missing the point.
Not too long ago I had a couple looking for a home. The property they wanted just didn't come together. So they ended up buying another property. The listing on the original home expired and a new company took over the listing. The new listing agent took a copy of our original agreement of purchase and sale and use it to contact my clients directly. My clients told the agent that they had already bought a house. They weren't to happy that this agent came to their home and tried to get them back to the table.
I don't know about you, but I think that this agent was out of line. If they wanted to get my clients back to the table and perhaps do a reverse offer, then they should have contacted the selling agent (me) not the clients directly.
It's agents like this that give the rest of us a bad name. This agent was probably thinking of double ending the deal. Greed is a very dangerous thing. The only thing that should be on your mind is helping your client and doing the best job possible for them. You must have some sort of code of ethics. Sure you can make great money in real estate but please have a conscience. We are all out there trying to make a living. If you don't want something done to you, then you probably shouldn't be doing it to someone else.
Poeple, please, BE PROFESSIONAL. That is what will set you apart from the rest.
