I was just about to log on this morning when the power went out. This was the type of thing I had expected for the last week of inclement weather. When the weather gets cold and we get several inches of snow our power grid bights the dust.

We, as agents and Realtors, find ourselves every day trying to justify the price of one house to another. Whether we're in a listing presentation or working with buyers, we have to be the bad guy.
If you take 2 identical houses side by side, and one is priced higher and has always been maintained and kept up, the other has clogged gutters, moss on the roof, chipped paint, dirty windows, etc. the buyer will simply take the house where the owner has taken pride in ownership.
