I keep telling my clients to change the locks after they move into their new home but I still find several of my past clients who haven't changed those locks.
Reasons;
The sellers were moving out of state and we felt at ease with that. We trust the sellers. We don't have the money right now. We have Home Owners Insurance. We have an Alarm System. I also remind my clients to change the codes on the Garage Door Opener and Alarm System.

I showed my listing in NW Landing to a couple yesterday and was amazed the questions and how fast they were asked.
The questions;
How old is this house? How long has it been vacant? What's the square footage? Can we make an offer? None of these questions would stump any professional agent. I wasn't stumped however you can always tell when someone isn't listening to your answers. The buyer looked as if he was formulating his next question as I spoke. The questions were all asked as in the entry way and showed a case of nerves.
