Activities include collecting and bagging trash, trimming shrubbery, mending the wooden boardwalk, cleaning out the buildings and painting. The blessing of the inlet is a great family event that occurs every year in Murrels Inlet. Fun, food, kids activites, live music, vendors, its all there and you cant beat the location overlooking the Inlet. Great time was had by all.

St Christophers Children Charity Georgetown County SC Road Race - 05/06/10 11:06 AM
We had a great turnout for the 5k road race that raised funds for St Chrisprohers Children, a non profit that takes care of the needs of children in Georgetown County that fall thru the cracks in social service situations.
The race started at Precious Blood Church and would thru the scenic area of Waverly Road, past farmlands and Spanish moss laden trees swaying in the breeze.
Thanks to all the buisnesses that donated time, money and girt certificates.
Make it a part of your day next year, great kids event in Pawleys Island and its a great cause.
