I am writing this to let other agents understand that we are all in this together.

I like to receive and to give referrals.  Please be advised, to give as much information about yourself (ie if you are a licensed agent/broker), and general specifics about the referral to the other agent your are sending the referral. 

You do not have to give the contacts name, number, or address, until the time of acceptance.

If you send, just a "blanket" type of referral..saying you want 25% of the referral, and the agent on the receiving end asks questions, about why they are dumping their current agent, why their house did not sell, or why they did not take the previous offers placed on the property.... DO NOT reply with "I've done this for 20+ years" and you do not know anything about Real Estate"... that is not the way we should treat each other....

P.S. I turned down that referral.
