The experts say we should keep up or even increase our advertising spend when the business slows down to increase market share. As most people in the business, I too have experienced a slowdown. As my cash reserves are being gradually depleted it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain let alone increase my advertising activity. 
How do you guys deal with the issue of advertising in today's market? Do you cut back or do you keep a straight line in your advertising expenses and just keep on at the same level? For those of you who have been at it longer, what did you do in previous market slowdowns … (0 comments)

I have recently set up my website - www.buysellyorkregion.com. I practice in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. Over the last few weeks I have put quite a bit of work into it, both in terms of appearance and content as well as optimization. The result, as measured by # hits, has been OK but only that - not great.
I would very really like to hear what you, my peers have to say about it. Those of you for whom your website is a major source of leads, I would appreciate your comments on how to improve the effectiveness of my site. Be honest I can take it.
