drywall: Easily cut drywall with Power tools- Wednesday Walk through EP3 Video - 01/03/19 06:04 AM
In this video I'll show power tools I used to easily cut drywall for flush baseboards in this Wednesday Walk Through Episode 3. First I had to cover the new porcelain tile and wood flooring before I could cut the drywall for a second time. I used a 2 mil plastic and 1.5" masking tape to get the floor covering nice and tight! Then, I used my small cut saw made by Dremel called the Ultra Saw and I used a Fien Multi-Matster oscillating tool to get in to the corners that the cut saw couldn't get into.. drywall: DIY Drywall Finishing- Getting a Flat Butt Joint with Fiberglass Tape - 05/29/15 11:06 PM
I did this short video clip for all of those DIYers out there brave enough to try thier own drywall finishing on remodels and drywall repairs.
Butt joints are one of the hardest things to get right when it comes to drywall finishing!
After the new drywall was installed, I taped all of the drywall seams with a fiberglass mess drywall tape. When using fiberglass tape it's recommended to use a setting type joint compound that comes in a powder form that has to be mixed with water and not the permixed joint compound that comes in the 5 gallon buckets.

Before the homeowners could put this Viera, Florida home on the real estate market, they had to have the drywall paper tape joints that were cracking and starting to fall down on thier pool patio ceiling .

After I removed all of  the tape and while securing the ceiling and joints with screws. I figured out that there was a sagging drywall seam in one area where there was no wood framing member to attach a corner of a sheet of drywall and had popped the paper tape from movement. So I cut out a small 4"x6" section of … (4 comments)

This is where I come into the picture. Mr. Smith  sent an estimate request through my website which went to my phone. After speaking with Mr. Smith, I went out to have a look and secure the drywall ceiling to keep it from falling down … (3 comments)

drywall: How to apply a skip trowel texture - 06/08/14 10:04 AM
This is one of my many variations of skip trowel texture.

When I say "variation" there are several factors that determine how the skip texture will look.
One of the factors is the "surface" that is going to be textured. Skip trowel texture can be applied in a light, medium or even a heavy consistency, depending on whether you're going for an old world, modern or custom texture.

If the ceiling  and walls could talk in this 120 year old Kitchen ceiling Brevard County, Fl.   It would have some interesting stories to tell in deed. The City of Titusville, Florida. Originally called "Sand Point," until Confederate Colonel Henry T.
