Over the weekend I received a call from a gentlemen who was calling to ask questions about selling his home. He mentioned the community he lived in so while he was talking, I went to the Realtor MLS Database and pulled the historical data. Below is a snapshot of what has happened to home values in his community.
"When I shared with the homeowner what the homes in the neighborhood had sold for in the last six months and what the fair market rental prices were. He grew very quiet. " That is when I shared with him, selling by Short Sale is the answer when you cannot (0 comments)

As you search for homes and you begin to see comments in the remarks section such Fannie Mae Owned Home or this property is approved for HomePath Mortgage Financing or HomePath Renovation mortgage financing you might wonder what all that is about.
Well that means that Fannie Mae already owns the home. And Fannie Mae is stating that you the buyer can purchase the home using their special financing. This is what HomePath Financing is all about. Yesterday my post was about the newest Zillow Statistic's and reprots for the 22191,22192, and 22193 zip codes and a USA Today report about how many homeowners are upside down in America. . As I was gathering the information to put in a post, Imagine my surprise when I came across this review ( see below) on Zillow.com I thought I would share with any of you who have been following my blog and have been thinking about buying. A news report in USA Todaythe other day showed a (Chart: Under Water Chart ) where home owners across America are under water on their mortgages. Of course we all know that California, Nevada and Flordia make the list. But did you realize that Prince William County Virginia is ranked #26 on that chart! According to the report 47.4% of Prince William County Virginia homeowners are now underwater on their mortgages. A news reporter called quoting this figure, like this was big news or something. I choose not to meet him, it was 7pm at night, dark outside. Seriously, we live here...we know (2 comments)

I took some video for an incoming relocating buyer, however they choose another home in the community that was a bit larger. That said, Lisa Bailey Harper of Centry 21 the listing agent just sent me a message today stating the seller dropped the price to $415,000!
