It's been a long time since I've questioned the intrinsic value of staging a home, but recent events bring the benefits clearly into focus.  In a market in which there are hundreds of homes available in a town on any given day, setting a listing apart from the pack can reduce its time on the market substantially.  Case in point:  after spending about 4 weeks bringing a forty something year old home into the twenty-first century by making major and minor adjustments, I took a basically unsalable piece of real estate and turned it into a highly desirable commodity.  With the average … (8 comments)
