Today I showed the Sycamore. It reminded me about a plan from the Sage Condominiums, same developer. So think Sage but you get a level down on finish-outs. It’s cute and located about a block away from the Soco Lofts and shopping on south Congress Ave in 78704. Personally, I think the Cardinal Condominiums are a better deal.

Only blocks from the Bel Air lofts, the Metro Regional Transit station is the new transportation hub for the Metro in south Austin. This park like setting is on the southwest corner of South Congress Ave and Ben White (78704 or 78745 coverge). From here you can be downtown, at the airport or in front of Barton Creek Mall in minutes. I’m not sure you can call this an amenity, but it is pretty cool to have a place like this so close to where you live. The Bel Air lofts is only a few short stoplights away.

Well, I actually do somthing else in my life other than real estate. In this case, I like sparring and competing in local tournaments. Somebody sent me these videos of my sparring class. I practice a form under Grand Master Yi called Tukong Moosul. You can see it at http://www.masteryi.com. His theory is based on distance and using single large strikes to eliminate the threat. 2 steps - kick, 1 step - punch, 1/2 step - elbow or throw. I'm a Pum Dan which is a black belt candidate/ jr black belt in other forms. Don't laugh too hard.

Hill's Café is 1 block from the Bel Air Lofts. Known for two things, live music and great Texas BBQ, Hills Café has been an Austin staple for many years. Since it is so close to the Bel Air lofts, can they consider it an amenitty for the project. I think so.
There is live music every weekend and Wednesday night is local music night for regional stars. Like the Bel Air Lofts, Hill’s Café has a really cool outdoor entertainment area. The Bel Air has roof top decks. Hill’s has a large backyard with music and BBQ. I’m not … (1 comments)

Austin investment property nightmare - Beware of bad these tenants. - 10/11/08 11:01 PM
When you buy investment property in Austin or any other place, sometimes you have to deal with a nightmare or two... This is why you have to choose a good property manager who can deal with this type of tenant nonsense. There are bad tenants who take advantage of property owners. This particular tenant just destroyed the house, stopped paying rent and it took a visit with the good Judge Scott to evict the teants and prevent further damage.
