"How much longer do you think this will last?" If I only had a dime for every time a Homebuyer asked me this question. In the National Association of Homebuilders latest survey they give the shelf-life for over 100 Household Building Materials & Appliances. Here are just a few of the home components covered in the survey. The 'Estimated Time the Product Will Last' is the average useful life of the product & these numbers will vary according to other factors such as maintenance, quality of installation & climate. Nevertheless it's a great basis for judging the longevity of your Home's components.

Buyers Now Can Finance Up to TEN Properties Through Fannie Mae - 04/11/09 09:07 PM
Investors Get Ready! Effective March 1, 2009 Fannie Mae will now allow qualified borrowers to have up to ten (10) financed properties.  In today's market, there are a record number of bank owned properties available and a large supply of motivated sellers that present great opportunities to invest in real estate. 
This is a much anticipated and welcome change to regulations that temporarily sidelined seasoned investors who owned more than four (4) financed properties.  Fannie Mae returned to the ten (10) property limit because experienced borrowers will play a key role in the housing recovery.
