According to Where to Retire Editor Mary Lou Abbott, Crossville has many of the qualities that are important to today's retirees. Located on top of the Cumberland Plateau, this area is laden with timbered land, lakes, parks and scenic beauty with opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Though a small town ,Crossville   is considered the"Golf Capital" of Tennessee. boasting about a dozen 18 hole courses in a 15 mile radius.
