We have been very excited about how the market has picked up in Crossville ,Tennessee, so I decided to
complete a market report YTD just to see how we compare to other areas. Unfortunately we are not doing as
well as other areas very close to us. The absorption rate is still over 12 months. Now that Spring is here,

While reviewing the sales of homes in the Crossville Tn area, I found the following information:
In the zipcodes of 38571,38572,38555 and 38557 a total of 377 homes were sold in 2012.
The average sales price was $137,987,The average square footage was 1757 sq,ft.
The smallest home was 396 sq.ft and the largest was 5055 sq.ft.
The most expensive home sold for $700,500 and the least expensive was $6500.
I was very surprised at the most expensive home, for we have million dollar homes in the area that are on the market.

Very exciting news for Crossville Tn! This past Saturday, the community gathered to dedicate tthe Spirit Broadband Amphitheater located by the new  Art Circle Library.The outdoor venue ia a joint project of Cumberland County and the city of Crossville with major funding support from Spirit Broadband cable company.
This theater will provide seating for 1500-2000 people for outdoor concerts and community events. This past Sunday locals enjoyed free Gospel music from local groups. The accoustics are perfect because the facility is located between several buildings which amplify the music.

The National Association of Realtors-NAR-completes a homebuyer and seller profile every year. This past January 2011 profile has very interesting data! It just shows how the internet has changed the home search process for consumers.  Nearly half of all home buyers used the internet as the first step in the home buying process. Nine out of ten buyers used the interet during the home search process.  Eighty-eight percent used a real estate agent.

Walks-A-Lot is a 12- week program designed to encourage and support participants through the process of making healthy lifestyle choices.
