open house: Open House Secret Weapon - 07/15/07 01:48 PM
There's only so much advertising and so many signs (with balloons) that we can put out for an open house. The people that are going to show up are the ones who will show up. The big question for me was "How do i make them comfortable enought to look around with an open mind?"Of course I don't want to hover around them like a pushy salesman, nor do I want to completely ignore them. I need to be close enough to answer their questions without being so close that they feel that their private conversations are being monitored. Nervous open

open house: When it rains, it pours - 07/01/07 06:01 AM
So, I managed to convince my newest sellers to move a few pieces of furniture into the investment property they want to sell and I schedule a Saturday and Sunday open house. From ActiveRain comes a contact who wants to list a home for rent. This contact only has time available on Saturday - one of the open house days. Okay, it's time to adjust on the fly. Appointment made for 9:00 am, allow about an hour to make sure all the paperwork is right - I'll still have time to set up the open and put signs out.I arrive around noon
