As homeowners we sometimes get complacent about our home security.   We get comfortable and live in a neighborhood that we think is "safe".  But what does that mean?  The truth is that nowhere is safe.  Burglaries can happen anywhere and at anytime of the day or night.   So what can you do to protect yourself.
Here are some reminders about what to do and what not to do when it comes to home security.

Since it has been short while that we had a tragedy hit our Real Estate world in Des Moines, Iowa I wanted to remind to Be safe and don't forget it wasn't so long ago that we Lost a young agent that was murdered while working her open house at what most people would consider as a "Safe" neighborhood.  We are still deeply saddened by her loss and she is be missed by many.  Even though I hadn't mean't  her I felt some connection when her since this tragedy happenws so close to home.  As REALTORS® this has opened up our eyes to what is safe and not so … (5 comments)
