How's the Market? Wallingford and Meriden CT While Wallingford and Meriden are next door neighbors, their housing markets differ in several ways. Since the beginning of 2011, both markets have shown improvement, but in different areas. Wallingford As seen in the chart below, Wallingford's sweet spot for sales is the $100K - $300K range, with 58% of the sales in August happening there. The bulk of the inventory is also found in that price range, however. Properties above the $400,000 level continue to be a hard sell, except for new construction, which continues to sell well.
