Many sellers take their home off the Market between ThanksGiving and the New Year . Here are Three Reasons why you should consider keeping your home on the market ,
1. Buyers who look at homes at this time are serious buyers. Some relocating buyers come to the area to look at homes at this time and may even make up their minds over the weekend.
2.There is less inventory of homes unlike in the spring market so your home will have less competition.
3.It is a good opportunity to show your home at its best if you decorate well for the holidays. Buyers tend to stay in the house longer when it is decorated, that is the reason stores display holiday items early each year .

FreeCycle.org is a great site where you can find almost anything you need . It is organized into local communities so you can register on the site for a location close by .
If you have things you no longer need just post it on the site and chances are you will find someone who can use it. They will come to your house by appointment and pick it up. Or if you need something look for it on the site and contact the person who wants to give it away for free. Some of my home sellers have used it to give away things they don't need and thus got rid of clutter.
