If you live in Doylestown and do not wish to drive to New York, you can take the Trans Bridge Bus.
Go to www.transbridgebus.com
The bus stops at the Septa train station . You can buy your ticket at Doylestown Country food market at 203 w State street .
The bus goes to Newark Airport and Port authority in New York.
Doylestown is a great place with lots of restaurants, museums, shopping, and transportation.

Speechless Sunday. Vacation time brings fewer showings. - 08/09/09 02:00 PM
This lovely home in 55plus community in Bucks County is in great condition and is affordable. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and an attached garage. I have listed it on several internet sites. The price is reduced to $199900.
I am speechless as there have not been any showings in a month. 
 As soon as I posted this I got two showings in one day.

What do you think of Pre qualification letters? - 08/05/09 06:52 AM
Many Mortgage brokers and loan officers give free pre qualification letter to home buyers .
These letters usually say subject to verification of employment ..... etc
They ask the buyers a few questions and run a credit check. The letter is based on credit check but other things may have not been verified. When I am the  listing agent I explain it to sellers.
Sometimes they give pre qualification based on the offer. Sometimes this can backfire because if the seller thinks the buyer can not afford more and there is a better offer on the table , he will not make a counter … (7 comments)

They have all varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables at great prices.
You should go there even if you do not need Indian groceries.
They also have many kinds of indian frozen foods and spices.
It opened recently and a friend was going there so I went with her. i di not have a chance to meet the owners but the cashiers were friendly and efficient. The place was clean and everything was well organized.

If you are a first time buyer and looking to buy a short sale here is something you should know.: Bank approval for a short sale takes long and you want to make sure you have enough time to close before December 1, to qualify for first time buyers tax credit. Please have your agent give you an idea how long it will take. The agent can talk to the listing agent .

If you want to take advantage of the first time home buyers tax credit, you should make up your minds quickly so that you have enough time for the mortgage approval process. If there are unforeseen delays you might find that you cannot close by the deadline. Also,  as the deadline draws nearer there may be more applications and it will take longer.

You can vacation year round without leaving the community if you live in resort like community of Heritage Creek
They have a wonderful clubhouse with billiards room, craft room, fitness center, spa, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and lots of activities.
They have detached homes as well as apartment style units called Knox court condos.
I looked up the mls this morning and found two units listed at Knox court condos.
One unit with 2 bedrooms is listed at $259,900 and another is listed at $299,900 and it has a garage.
