What can we do to help home owners facing foreclosure? We cannot do as much as banks as they are the ones who can offer different options to homeowners. We should get training and education to handle short sales and foreclosures. There

About Getting a Release of Liability for Your Short Sale - 05/16/11 09:26 AM
This is great information for agents and sellers of short sales. I hope they will read it. I have reblogged it o give more people a chance to read it. Via Elizabeth Weintraub, Sacramento Short Sale Agent, Land Park, #00697006 Lyon RE (Lyon Real Estate #00697006): In some states, short sale sellers routinely are responsible for deficiencies. These sellers would never utter the words what is a release of liability because they won't get it. But in California, there is really no excuse not to aim for a release of liability in a short sale. Yet, how many short sale agents do it?

The above picture was taken when I went to India three years ago. I have been in America since my marriage in 1975 . My fist visit back home to see my parents was 1n 1980 . I used to go back once in 4 or five years in those days. It was very difficult for me and it was very expensive to call. We could not dial directly and calls had to be operator assisted.
