I was at the library and saw a bin where you can drop off newspaper. I am sure there are many organizations that have similar programs. Instead of throwing the newspaper with the trash, check around and see if it will benefit a non profit group in the area. You can go there once a month and drop it off.

There are many wonderful Active Adult communities in Bucks County (also called 55plus communities.)
Most of them have great amenities and activities.
I was out with clients recently and showed them several communities in the area.
They are not yet ready to buy as their home is on the market for sale but they wanted to see what is out there.
Here are the three favorite communities that they liked.
#1.  Heritage Creek in Warwick township. They loved the 15,000 square ft clubhouse with indoor swimming pool, and also the large outdoor pool.

I am working with clients looking for a home in  an Active Adult community in the area.
I had scheduled appointments for 7 homes. I found out at the last minute that three of the homes went under contract so showings were cancelled. We were an hour early for an appointment so I called the showing desk and asked if we could see it. They requested us to wait in the car for few minutes and then let us in..

Buyers start their search for a home on the internet. If the home shows nice the chances of them requesting a showing increases. It is important to have good pictures and also for the home to show well.
But the question I have for you is  : Do too many photos of the listing online reduce the number of showings? Do buyers feel that they have already seen the house and rule it out without actually going personally to see the house.

There is a senior center near by . I went there yesterday  with some of my magazines and books that I had read and dropped them off.
I am sure there will be seniors who will enjoy reading them while they wait for their activities . I noticed one lady picked up a magazine right away.

I went to a local business owner to purchase some things. the owner seemed to know my name. I thought may be I had mentioned it when I called her for information earlier.
Then she asked me 'How is the Real Estate business? I couldn't believe I heard it right because I had not mentioned real estate. Then she said ' " Aren't you a Realtor? " I said , 'Yes"

Pay it Forward in June. Help someone who is short of cash at the grocery store - 06/02/11 05:59 PM
I was at the grocery store the other day and there was a woman in front of me who had a cart full of groceries.
After the cashier was done scanning the items the woman took out her wallet and started counting the cash. Then she looked in her pocketbook for extra change . She realized she was short one dollar and told the cashier that she would not need one of the items. I told the lady I had some extra change to spare .
The Lady could not believe it. She thanked me a hundred times .

I looked up the mls to check out single homes in Upper Moreland township, Montgomery County Pa priced upto $300,000
There are 66 single homes priced upto $300,000.
62 of these homes have minimum of 3 bedrooms.
37 of the 62 homes have atleast one car garage, 54 of the 62 homes have a basement and 35 have both garage and basement.

Warminster township is located in Centennial School district. It is a Northern suburb of Philadelphia.
I looked up the mls this morning and found 67 single homes priced upto $300,000
63 of these homes have minimum 3 bedrooms.
49 of the 63 have atleast one car garage, 38 of the 63 homes have a basement and 27 homes have both garage and basement.
