condo: SINGLE WOMEN OUTNUMBER SINGLE MEN AS HOMEBUYERS - 06/05/07 09:30 AM
I was surprised to read the latest issue of PA Realtor . see www.parealtor.org. There is an article by Buck Wargo that states that according to a study by National association of Realtors 22% of home buyers were single women, while 9% of single men were home buyers.
From my experience with selling to single women over the years, I can say that only 10 percent of those buyers bought a single home. condo: MURPHY'S LAW AND SETTLEMENT DAY. EPISODE 1 - 05/20/07 05:54 PM
Settlement usually takes place in an hour and we set up settlements at our office every hour on the hour. The last Friday of the month is when it is busiest.
Many of us have experienced an all day settlement or one that was postponed on the day scheduled for settlement.
I have had a few of these over the years. May be some of you might want to share your experience as well.  We can all learn from these and take care that it will not happen again.
