The guarantee fee is equal to 2.00% of the loan amount.
For rate/term refinance transactions, the guarantee fee is .50%

In addition to the 6th Air Mobility Wing, MacDill Air Force Base is also home to 53 Mission Partners, including United States Central Command and United States Special Operations Command. This is a new program for borrowers at risk of default and foreclosure. The program provides new, 30-year, fixed rate mortgages that are insured by the Federal Housing Authority (FHA). H4H is voluntary. Both lender(s) and borrower(s) must agree to participate.

A great alternative to an FHA loan is the RURAL DEVELOPMENT, USDA loan. The home to be purchased must be located in an eligible rural area as defined by USDA.
