SoCal Stagers rally together for Foster Kids - 07/22/08 09:10 AM

 
A project that has been over 2 months in the making finally came to fruition on Monday July 21, 2008.  It all began with one of my best clients taking myself and her brother to the Dream Center of  Los Angeles.  After touring the facility, seeing the GREAT works that they do within the community, and then visiting a "soon-to-be" home for 6 Foster Kids ~ We were hooked.  The brother pitched a rather large grant to the Foster Home, my client spearheaded what was "needed" and my company stretched the budgetary dollar as far as possible.

Vacant new home  - This particular home, although new, had some rather "awkward" areas in the floor plan.  Our staging made sense of those areas, brought attention to the details of the architecture and most importantly: kept to the style of the home AND the demographics of the potential "hollywood industry" buyer.  This home went into escrow in just 1 week! I really wish Developers and Builders were also in larger numbers here on AR.  Even the "builder" groups seem to be filled more with Realtors and posts about their listings, than the Builders and Developers themselves.  Please, if you have a viable relationship with a Builder, Developer, Contractor or the like, PLEASE invite them to join Active Rain!

Really, I LOVE my Vendors, with a capitol V, and wanted to share with everyone just HOW IMPORTANT your vendors are to your business.  Your Vendors can make or break your business, and HOW?!?!
If your vendors are treated with disrespect, they will let you know it.  Most likely not to your face, but how they handle their own business with you.  For example: 
If your vendors don't return your calls, are usually late to appointments, seem to charge "too much" (all the time), don't do a great job and have that perfectly-fine-by-them attitude - most likely your vendors are not … (7 comments)
