Today we staged a lovely home in Newark, NJ. When the sellers first called me, they were in the middle of doing many extensive renovations of the home. Did you ever notice on DeSigned to Sell that they only really "Stage" 3 rooms in the house?? How many times have you been on your consults and you literally want to redo every little nook and cranny and every room? Is it really necessary??
Here is a house I staged that was on the real estate market for about 6 months. I was called in right after that wonderful price reduction. Houses are still selling just not as quickly, and the ones that show best will sell first! As a Professional Home Stager in NJ I have worked with many real estate agents and the one thing I always highly recommend to them is that they must STAGE their listing prior to that first Open House.
