Hi fellow rainers! I have an interesting story. I am auditioning to have a show on the Oprah network. It is crazy how it happened:

My friend Vanessa posted a message on my Facebook wall, which I get on my Blackberry.

"How come you're not auditioning?"

My cousin Karinee sends me a Blackberry message:

"You gotta audition, today is the last day"

I was not home. There was no way I was going to make it home and be ready...so my cousin does the signing up, reads all the rules so I am "compliant".

The video making didn't take long (it's not great but it's honest!) - it was un-edited and un-rehearsed. The application was LONG and intense! Watch it and tell me what you think.

A fun technique is to play pretend. Pretend your readers are interviewing you and you need to come up with a quick, impressive,and compelling answer.

Here are 10 sample questions:

How many years have you been in service?

What motivated you to become a Realtor?

What obstacles or challenges have you faced in your career?

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

What have been the keys to success in your business?

How would you describe what separates you from your competition?

What do your customers/clients say about you?

What types of marketing do you employ?

Do you believe networking and contacts are important? If so, how?

What advice do you have for new Realtors?

Knowing [and sharing] the answers to these questions will really help you build stronger relationships with your prospect clients or strengthen existing relationships with your existing clients.
