caraway mountain: Pinehurst-High Point and the beautiful drive! - 11/21/10 10:30 PM
 
My mother lives in High Point, NC.  I live in Pinehurst, NC…..about a 1½ hour drive.  The normal route is to go up and down on Hwy 220 (I-73 & I-74).  But several times a year I take an alternate route because of the time of the year….Spring and Autumn!  This week as I was headed home from High Point I took that alternate route….down through Archdale, Flint Hill, through Caraway Mountain on into Asheboro. 
The drive was absolutely gorgeous…only lasts about 20 minutes then back to reality.  The drive up Old Lexington Road into Asheboro is such a … (0 comments)
