"Naughty or Nice" ~ ..... Someone Is Watching You :~) - 11/20/11 09:20 PM
I may be getting ahead of myself, as we are in the midst of all of the things that we give thanks.  One of the things that came to mind to me today,  is I thought it was very gracious of Santa Claus to have given us the benefit of
the "Naughty or Nice" list as parents!!
My children have always loved (& still love) Santa Claus and all the specialness of the seasons.  I am so thankful for our children young adults & being able to have the gift & history of baking special treats, helping to prepare the family meal...and even as … (10 comments)

Do You Want Cheese With That Whine? - 11/19/11 01:22 PM
I saw this post first by Sherri Wellborn with her re-blog, of this story by Gary Woltal.  Gary's story will stop & make everyone think this Thanksgiving and be thankful for what we have & not what we don't have.
While we are human & have emotions no doubt, this should keep most of the negativity in check...we can always look around us & find much worse & sometimes it need not be any farther than the next corner.
Many times there are resources that we don't always think to reach for as we have never had to before.  I am & know many that … (0 comments)

Series of Artist Introductions ~ Meet Gustavo Novoa - 11/15/11 11:52 AM
I have been publishing a series of introductions on the Artists that I have been so proud to have had the experience of working with....I hope you have enjoyed their work as much as I have & I feel Art is so important to our lives & of "Staging" our environments ~ homes, commercial properties, offices, vacation destinations, or vessels.
Gustavo Novoa is my next introduction. Many of Gustavo's works are of a serene setting of jungle wildlife.  The details & colors amazing & soothing, IMHO, but you will see below that I am not the only one that feels this way! :)

Elevator Speech ~ More Than Points!! - 11/15/11 08:20 AM
We understood after reading about the Elevator Speech Contest, that it was worth to us way more than points....
Rebekah Radice is always wonderful at bringing us a way to gain business, marketing, or tech tips, & with this contest ~ confidence in speaking concisely about our business, & relationships....
However, today I learned it could be worth even more!!  Really you say!!??
The Miami Herald (& many papers) always posts a section titled Business Monday. I arrived home late to scan it & I couldn't get my fingers to the keyboard fast enough.... Now, we haven't heard the results of … (7 comments)

What Do You Think Bothers Me About These Two Photos - 11/13/11 02:49 PM
I mentioned previously that there were a few components that helped propel me forward into Staging.  Part of the equation had to do when I would check into Hotel Rooms & the way they had been Staged for guests.  I try not to be too critical, but for some reason a few things in these two photos didn't seem right with me & I would have done differently?
I feel attention to detail is important when you are having guests arrived & this applies if it is your Vacation Property or Your Home for Sale....(or your Vessel for Charter).  What do you … (18 comments)

"Always" In a Whimsical State of Mind ~ Meet One of My Favorite People - 11/10/11 05:16 PM
One of my favorite people & Artists is always in a "Whimsical" state of mind when he inspires us with his works. This is a sample of original & editions that I collaborated with him when I had my former endeavor. As I have mentioned in a few of my blogs, my artists & clients were like part of my family & I have carried that feeling and relationship forward into my experience of Staging. I feel many of you will understand my sharing of Karl's work after you have had a chance to review.
Karl is a uniquely one of … (0 comments)

On my Facebook Today - These stats would put Occupy in a spin - 11/10/11 05:12 PM

I try not to share anything too poorly received as we need the upbeat more than the negative....this just set me back on my heels a little.  I know it is true.  I didn't realize all of these positions got paid for "life"??
It is from my Facebook Wall, someone had shared.  (I couldn't hit the like button on this one & they have not put up an "dislike button" yet?)
I guess you will have to click the link to see the photo but it has these stats, my screen is not too clear a snap shot - Just not too … (4 comments)

Two Major Art Events Coming - Art Basel & Art Miami - 11/09/11 02:27 AM
I would like to share some of my favorite people on the outside of my associates here, as in the next few weeks we have two MAJOR Art Events!  In Staging we are always utilizing Art!!  I am always for the local art shows & artists...such as the Delray Affair & Las Olas Art Festivals.  They inspire my creativity.  These events however, kick it up to another level, & are exhibitors that you will only find either privately collected, in galleries, museums, or Sotheby's or similar auctions.  The two events coming are Art Basel & Art Miami.
These events are timed just prior to … (7 comments)

A Mediterranean Escape "&" One of the Greatest Climates .... Right Here In The USA - 11/06/11 07:45 PM
One of the reasons I became a Stager, stemmed from my vision with "every" property I see, it also started when I would check into a Hotel during my travels, and the visions I would have, as well as the visions of the homes I would see along my journey of life.
I have to say that while there are some amazing Hotels that are extremely comfortable & excellent with guest services....there are but a very few that have left me 'stunned' upon my arrival. I had a shift of that history with my recent trip. It began when I checked … (8 comments)
