Century 21 has broken the mold and ventured into uncharted waters with its Superbowl commercial. What does the commercial say about the brand? The new management team is serious about restoring the brands pre-eminence on all levels of advertising. After spending the past three years revamping its Internet strategy - it is ready to re-enter television advertising to boost its internet strategy. As we start a new year it is interesting to note the changes in this list. Some agents have left Century 21 - some have left the real estate business altogether. Others have grown their presence on Twitter dramatically -others remain where they were a year ago. There are only a dozen who have broken the 2000 follower barrier.

There's a buzz in many Century 21 offices about the new internet marketing tool that has been rolled out this month called the Golden Ruler. For the past 2 years the Century 21 corporate office has made improving the brand's presence on the internet a main priority. They have successfully raised the number of Internet leads distributed to Century 21 agents and increased the number of websites that a Century 21 listing shows up on. The year started with Century 21 withdrawing all its money out of TV advertising into the Internet and ends with Twitter and Facebook and YouTube being bona fide prospecting tools for real estate. As I was compiling the list of Century 21 agents and employees using Twitter several ideas struck me. First congratulations to Century 21 First Realty for being so far ahead of the rest of us in acclimating to this new communications platform. I hope they'll help us all get better at using this medium.

Although the quality of your followers is more important than the quantity, number of followers is some indication of that person's commitment to the Twitter platform. This one is arranged by State - The next one will be a ranking by state by number of followers
So work on gaining those followers in the next few weeks
If you don't have at least 10 followers you will be dropped from the list
