The annual pool party will be held Friday, 6/8/12, at 6 p.m. at the R.H. Johnson Outdoor pool.
The Real Tones, who made their Sun City West debut last, will be the headliners at the pool party. Are $12 and nonresidents are $15.  No tickets will be sold at the door.
This year the Texas Roadhouse will be catering the party.  Dinner includes a 4 ounce chicken, 4 ounce pulled pork, corn Cole slaw and roll.
Go grab you sandals, swim suit and towel and join us!

Surprise Senior Center seeks contestants for
Idol Show
The Surprise Senior Center is getting ready for it 7th Surprise Senior Idol Show Contest.  It will be held on Wednesday, 7/18/12, at 1 p.m. in the Valley Vista High School Performing Arts Center at 15550 Parkview Place in Surprise, Az.
The prizes will be given in a variety of categories:
Dancing
Singing
Karaoke
Lip Sync

Noise Complaint at Luke AFB, AZ
Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were.

A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall. When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must have stung quite a bit.

Why I love Sun Cty West Arizona - 05/13/12 03:38 PM

I am very fortunate to live and work in a wonderful place, Sun City West, Arizona.
My husband and I decided we had the afternoon to ourselves.  We jumped into the golf cart and played 9 holes of golf.  The beauty of the community, Sun City West, is that it has 7 golf courses and two are around the corner!
p.s.  I shot a 50 on the front 9.  That shows you, I don't have much time for golf!

What do you mean, you can't find your key! - 05/13/12 02:19 PM
I was awakened two nights, or two mornings ago, at 1 a.m.  My clients called me to say that they were locked out of their house and could I let them in.  Apparently, someone had shown the house, and locked the door from the garage to the house. 
They decided to go to Las Vegas on the spur of the moment and did not bring the house key, they use the garage opener.
I have learned 3 things:
1. Always put a sign on the door not to lock
2.  Have a hide-a-key somewhere
3.  Have a great sense of humor!

No such thing as "A little water!" - 05/13/12 01:42 PM
We are in the closing on a property within 10 days.  The Sellers agents called to let us know there was “a little water” in the kitchen.  She said she would mop it up and everything would be fine. 
Warning Bells went off!!!!!
I called our inspector and requested that he meet us at the property with the clients and that the Sellers Agent would be there.
When we arrived the inspector found that the refrigerator hose had become disconnected.  Bottom line is that the water needed to be cleaned up by a professional and fans were needed.

This even is great fun!  It’s almost full contact golf as your competitors egg you on, sometimes at a bad moment.
Two-person teams alternate their shots while the high-scoring teams are eliminated on each hole until there are only three teams left. From those 3 teams, they will be awarded a “Win”, “Place” and “Show”.  Leave your sensitive side at home, we like to have fun!

One of my listings has been chosen by Barbara Corcoran to be on the NBC Today Show!  I received a call approximately 10 days ago that Barbara Corcoran was interested in using my listing, in Arizona Traditions, for Great Homes for under $500K.  They called me this afternoon and told me it would be on this Friday, May 11th, in the 9:00 am hour.
