His friend Randy, stops him and asks, "Hey Dave! Whatcha got that case of beer for?" "Well, I got it for my wife", answers Dave. "WOW", exclaimed Randy, "Great trade

Buying Your Dream Home in Ct? Fairfield County Home Inspection Can Save You Money,Stratford, Milford,Westport,Wilton.Darien, - 08/28/07 08:34 AM
The most important part of buying a home is the Inspection,
Everyone knows that home ownership is the American Dream. That dream can quickly become a nightmare, however, for uninformed buyers. Even newly constructed homes can harbor costly mistakes-mistakes that may not be visible to the untrained eye.
Many homebuyers assume that they do not need a home inspection. They simply rely on their eye and their intuition to check a property's quality and safety. That can be a costly, and dangerous, mistake. An inspection by a qualified home inspector can save potential homebuyers time, money, and heartache. Inspections generally cost a few … (0 comments)

Southport Green, a 4.7 acre mixed use complex, located at the corner of Old Post Road and Rennell Drive in the Southport section of Fairfield, faces foreclosure proceedings begun by T.D. Banknorth. The are three main reasons for the foreclosure, according to Harriet Baldwin, director of operations for Southport Village Partners, LLC (SVP): one, the way the market is, sales are slower than expected; two, although a third of the project was pre-sold, because of construction delays presales are not closed yet; third, the state of illiquidity of the credit market."Ten of … (0 comments)

Mold Info, Fairfield County Home Inspection, CT, Fairfield, Weston, Easton,Wilton,Westport, Darien, - 08/20/07 02:12 AM
Moldy Facts
     http://www.fairfieldcountyhomeinspection.com/mold.html
What is Mold?
Simple, microscopic organisms found on plants, dry leaves, and on just about every other organic material. There are a variety of molds in the natural environment. Outside, molds play a part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves and dead trees, but indoors, mold growth should be avoided. Mold may begin growing indoors when mold spores land on surfaces that are wet. While there are many types of mold, none of them will grow without water or moisture.
Why is Mold Growing Here?
Molds reproduce by means of tiny spores; the spores are invisible … (0 comments)

Our Bridges are Crumbling While The state DOT Spins its Wheels, Fairfield County Home Inspection - 08/20/07 01:39 AM
This is what our State Senator has to say, about Fairfield's Roads and Bridges.
The state Department of Transportation should scrap its ill-conceived plan for expanding Fairfield rest areas and get on with the more important work of making vital bridge and infrastructure repairs throughout Connecticut.
For those of you who don't know, the DOT has proposed building an unsightly two-story truck stop over and around I-95 in Fairfield. The new rest area will consist of a 5,000-square-foot restaurant and convenience store surrounded by a sea of parking spaces built to accommodate 18-wheel tractor trailers.
The purpose of this project, according to … (0 comments)

Fairfield Public School lawsuit, Fairfield County Home Inspection - 08/20/07 01:29 AM
Fairfield County Home Inspection gives Credit to Colleen Phelan for writing this article.

I just finished reading the article regarding the Fairfield public school lawsuit being brought by Mrs. Fiore. While I know nothing of the details of the alleged discrimination, I do want to offer my support to Dwight's principal, Brenda Anziano, who is mentioned in the article.
Ms. Anziano is an "openly" wonderful principal. She is a fine administrator and always puts the children first. If you were to stop by Dwight on any given day, you may see her playing soccer with the kids during recess, reading to kindergartners, … (0 comments)

Fairfield CT Government, Fairfield County Home Inspection, - 08/05/07 07:27 PM
Fairfield Government
The open town meeting with "select men" is the time-honored traditional New England form of government. As the town grew, changes were made and a town charter was adopted in 1947. Fairfield's government is still led by a three member Board of Selectmen, with a First Selectman who is the Chief Executive and Administrative Officer. The legislative body is the Representative Town Meeting (RTM). The RTM is limited by Charter to no more than 50 members elected from 10 voting districts. The Town Hall governmental complex has been located on the Old Post Road for over 200 years. In 1979, … (0 comments)

Small Town Living Fairfield CT - 08/05/07 07:00 PM
Like many modern towns, sometimes Fairfield can seem like a city replete with both the hustle and the bustle most commonly reserved for places like New York, or Topeka, at least. Recently, I was reminded how much Fairfield can bear the character of a small town. I, went to Home Depot on Sunday to pick trim for a bit of remodeling, Not two minutes in, I heard my name rise in the air behind me."Pete!" called the voice, which turned out to be owned by Past client that just move here from Florida. My client looking clean and well-put-together, apparently knew what I had … (0 comments)
